The Bishola’s Lab proudly highlights the participation of Tania Bishola in an international webinar focused on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and wastewater surveillance, where she presented findings from our ongoing collaborative research activities.
This webinar brought together researchers, public health professionals, and One Health advocates working to better understand how environmental monitoring can support the global fight against antimicrobial resistance, one of the greatest public health challenges of our time.
During her presentation, Prof. Tania shared insights from our laboratory’s research on AMR surveillance and environmental health, emphasizing the importance of wastewater-based approaches in detecting and monitoring antimicrobial resistance patterns in communities. These approaches are becoming increasingly important for strengthening early warning systems, improving public health preparedness, and supporting evidence-based interventions.

Our participation in this scientific exchange reflects the mission of Bishola’s Lab:to contribute innovative, interdisciplinary, and impactful research in molecular biology, microbiology, and public health.
The webinar also highlighted the importance of the One Health approach, recognizing the close connection between human, animal, and environmental health in addressing antimicrobial resistance globally.
We are honored to see our research presented on international platforms and remain committed to advancing scientific knowledge that can contribute to healthier and more resilient communities.
